References & Methodology
Every figure on this page is anchored to a verified source.
Sources below are limited to U.S. federal agencies (.gov), WHO, peer-reviewed clinical guidelines, and legitimate healthcare industry organizations. Each URL is verified live; the page is re-audited quarterly.
Evidence methodology
- Evidence hierarchy: claims are graded by source tier: Tier 1 systematic review / meta-analysis · Tier 2 evidence-based clinical guideline / compendium · Tier 3 primary RCT or large observational study · Tier 4 federal-agency surveillance / regulatory data · Tier 5 industry survey (used only for operational metrics, never for clinical outcomes).
- Recency window: ≤ 5 years, aligned with AHRQ evidence syntheses, DNP capstone literature reviews, and Cochrane review protocols. Foundational guidelines outside this window are cited only via their most-recent evidence-based update (e.g., SHEA/IDSA/APIC/AHA 2022 Compendium).
- Verification cadence: every URL below was HEAD-tested live on the verification date shown next to the source. Quarterly re-audit replaces any broken or superseded link.
- Independence statement: Prevexium is an independent platform and is not affiliated with CDC, AHRQ, CMS, BLS, WHO, SHEA, IDSA, APIC, AHA, HIMSS, or any federal or international agency. We cite; we do not modify or speak for these organizations.
