Welcome to the Prevexium blog. This is where we'll publish the short, opinionated, citation-heavy notes that don't fit cleanly into a product page or an AI response — things like:
- Field observations from environment-of-care rounds
- Audit cheat sheets (MDRO, sharps, hand hygiene, PPE storage)
- Updates when CDC, OSHA, CMS, The Joint Commission, or DNV publish something that changes how you should document
- Plain-language explainers for patients and families that our consumer persona pages link to
Why a blog, and why now
Infection prevention moves fast, and most teams don't have the time to triage every new memo. Our goal is to collapse the signal-to-noise ratio: what changed, which standard it maps to, what you need to do by when. Every post will cite the primary source, not somebody else's summary.
What you won't find here
- Marketing fluff
- Medical advice for specific patients (Prevexium is not a clinical decision tool)
- Protected Health Information of any kind (we don't handle it, don't want it, and ask that you never paste it into the AI either)
How to follow along
- Bookmark
/blog/— new posts appear at the top - Filter by audience (General, Nursing Leaders, IPs, Patients and Caregivers) using the chips above the grid
- Subscribe at the bottom of any post to get new infection-prevention notes in your inbox — no account needed, unsubscribe anytime
- Launch the AI any time you want to pull a regulation or run an EOC image past the assistant
Thanks for reading. If there's a specific topic you'd like us to cover, email support@prevexium.com and we'll add it to the queue.
